The commitment
The commitment applies from the first shop sale, including physical products, clothing and paid digital models sold through the shop. It refers to shop profits, not 10% of an item’s price.
The beneficiary
The charity will be chosen later. The allocation will be set aside until a beneficiary is selected. No charity partnership or NHS endorsement is currently in place. This page does not report donations already made.
The calculation
Shop profit means shop sales income after refunds, production, fulfilment, payment and platform fees, and other direct shop costs, excluding VAT or sales taxes collected for the authorities. The allocation is 10% of positive shop profit, calculated before the donation itself and corporation tax. General company research and development spending will not reduce this calculation.
If shop profit is £100, £10 will be allocated to charity. The allocation will be reconciled against actual sales and costs. Kickstarter funding is separate from this shop commitment.
